As a creative with a diverse background in the arts, I find myself in that perfectly anxious moment of thrill and curiosity thinking about my next move. Always adaptable and eager to learn from our fast-paced digital climate, I get my thrills from niche ideas worth talking about. My “eagerness” has pulled me in many directions—especially when it comes to art and media communication, as I find great pleasure in creating and to create meaning.
It’s not commitment issues—I’ve been like this since my first-grade teacher told my mother I needed special attention assistance due to her believing I had way too many questions—a curious Carlie they would call me. Those questions turned into an almost fixated interest in learning a variety of art mediums, (the only way I knew how) to express and communicate my underlining interest in human behavior.
Besides the obvious passion (for content, design, trends, media, BIG ideas, and general creativity,) I have record times sitting down to craft (knitting, embroidering, painting, coloring), shooting analog/ being in the darkroom, and writing poetry.
